Nahid Mobini is an international family physician who graduated from the University of Medical Sciences in Mashhad, Iran in 1993. She then worked as a family doctor at a private clinic and at a hospital in the emergency room before deciding to pursue acupuncture in Beijing China.
She then graduated with her Acupuncture degree from the China Academy of Traditional Chinese medicine in 2003. Since then she has had 13 years of experience doing Acupuncture in Iran and 5 years in Canada.
Nahid has been able to successfully use her knowledge and experience in both fields of western and Chinese medicine to treat countless patients with musculoskeletal disorders, neurological disorders, and emotional disorders, etc. Additionally, she is an expert in cosmetic acupuncture.
- Nahid is a part of the Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Society
(PTCMAAS).
- She is a member of the Chinese medicine and acupuncture association of Canada.
- Nahid Is also the owner of the Nahid Acupuncture Clinic.
My name is Carmillina. I originally started my career path as a Medical Assistant for many years. I was fortunate along the way to work with a physician that had a passion for taking care of not only the body but also treating skin conditions. Assisting her with her patients and their skin treatments is what initially sparked my interest in skincare and procedures. I then spent a few years working from home to raise my family.
In 2019, I finished my first few certifications in Calgary, Alberta, in Medical Aesthetic courses such as Microneedling and BB Glow. As my passion grew, so did my drive to learn more about skin and treatments; and I continued to get more education in the industry with Microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and facials. I had the privilege to study with and work with an Instructor of the Canadian Association of Medical Spas &Aesthetics of Canada, who passed incredible skin knowledge, techniques, and incredible skincare line onto me and continues to be my mentor. I also dabbled in getting a few beauty certifications to add to my ever-growing menu, which will be added to my services shortly. I continue to study and add new things as I continue to grow.
I genuinely believe that it is essential to take care of your body with diet and exercise, your skin is your largest organ, and we need to take care of it just the same. You will never regret a little "Gym" for your skin. I think being comfortable and confident in your own skin instead of covering it up is a beautiful thing.
In 2020, I crossed paths briefly with Nahid being a coworker, and then our paths came together again in 2022. I am very happy to join the team @ Nahid Acupuncture.
